This section provides information, resources and support to community groups and individuals who are using, or looking to use, ICT to create benefits for their community.

We offer:

	Inspiration through Case studies (including previous winning and commended projects in the Digital Inclusion category of SustainIT’s eWell-Being Awards) of how ICT is being used in the real world to address social and environmental issues.

SustainIT’s report, “Connected Community Organisations - Can They Help to Overcome the Digital Divide?”, assesses how UK-based community organisations can help to reduce the ‘digital divide’ by providing Internet access and training at local centres for people who cannot, or do not, access the internet at home. It includes 8 case studies of organisations that have successfully adopted broadband technology and benefited themselves and their communities.
